CJC-1295 with DAC is a peptide hormone composed of 30 amino acids, featuring four substitutions, and acts as a growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). Although synthetic GHRH was already known, its half-life was too brief to be practical. This led to the creation of CJC-1295 with DAC, which was developed to provide a more extended half-life and improved effectiveness.
