Melanotan 2 (MT2) — an innovative way to stimulate tanning and protect against harmful UV radiation.
MT2 is a synthetic peptide and an analogue of the natural hormone Melanocortin, which is the primary factor stimulating skin cells to produce melanin. Melanin is the pigment responsible for skin coloration and provides protection against harmful UV rays.
The peptide is used to stimulate pigment (melanin) production in cases where this function is impaired. It works by activating the pituitary gland to produce melanin, resulting in visible tanning and additional protection from UV radiation.
The peptide is administered nasally using a dispenser, several times a day based on your weight, at any convenient time. One use is considered as one spray in each nostril.
The treatment course typically lasts 10–15 days.
If results are minimal, the course can be extended until the desired effect is achieved, but no longer than 30 consecutive days. There should be at least 2 hours between applications.
During the course, it is essential to either visit a tanning bed or sunbathe outdoors at least 3–4 times.
Once the desired tan is achieved, the peptide can be used 1–2 days per week (as needed) to maintain the tan.
